Who I Am

Two main ideas determine who I am. The first is Who defines me, and the second is what describes me:

First, I am defined by who I am in Christ. I identify with Him, thus, what I do in life is a continuous reflection of Who He is shaping me to be.

I am a young lady who desires to become a Proverbs 31 woman. Because of what God's Word says and Who God is for me, I know that I am unique, I am beautiful, I am blessed, I am God's.

For Him, I play music with the sole purpose of making His praise glorious. I'm a violinist, violist, and singer.

Because of Who He Is and my desire to know more about Him, I am a forever student of His Word, a reader of good books, a thinker.

Because of what He has done and has yet to do in my life, I am a lover of people, a seeker of beauty, a believer in children and family, a teacher, a dreamer.

I enjoy spending time in His creation. I meet with Him there, am challenged by Him there, talk with Him there, get to know Him better there. His creation testifies to His nature, thus, teaches me more about Him.

Second,  I am described as

A southern girl from Tennessee. A musician. A home school graduate. A second-born baby of the family. Laid back. Friendly. Type B personality. A reader. Pensive. A lover of the outdoors. Quiet. Daddy's girl. Soft-spoken with the voice, outspoken with written word. Hater of conflict. A procrastinator (sadly). Lover of children. Teacher. Good listener. Good judge of character. Hider of emotion. A Dreamer, and more. All support my personality description as an INFP. Read the page if you're curious; it describes me almost perfectly.
